Nepeta: Sleepwalk (Open RP)
Even though she couldn’t see it through the covered windows, she knew the sun was rising. She would not sleepwalk again for another sweep. This didn’t mean she still wasn’t ornery from being woken up by strange voices in her room. She ignored the shift in the bed at first, but whoever the intruder was had better leave. She woke up on her own time. One more warning, she decided.
She pulled more covers over herself and grabbed another pillow and put it over her head to block him out. “AC said she’s still sleepy! Get out of her room!” she muttered, swiping at him and tightening into an even smaller ball. When did she get so many pillows?
Dave chuckled. Okay maybe he was out of danger now. She seemed at least a good degree less harmless now. The little swipe sent one of his eyebrows up, but nothing more, no dodge out of the way or anything. She was underneath all his sheets and covers and nothing could really reach him unless she came out. Lowering his brow into a bit of a frown now, he leaned in with slight curiousity.
“Yo, you aren’t listening to me are you,” he said, speaking into the ball of blankets, looking a little foolish perhaps to any passersby. Though of course there were none of those. So he didn’t care.
“Believe it or not, you, miss weird-troll-cat-girl, are in MY room. Also you’re in my bed under my covers. I ain’t leavin’.”
Then he leaned back, crossed arms over his chest and brought his legs up to sit cross-legged where he was settled amongst his pillows. His nose scrunched up at a thought, blinking slowly as it passed and he heaved a sigh before continuing.
“Besides, it’s nearly morning, do all of you really sleep so much god dammit, that’s a little weird. Too much sleep is never good. Unless.. you’re a cat. Which maybe you kinda are? Fuck I dunno. Just c’mon get outta my fucking bed I’d like to catch up on the sleep I missed by havin’ to trail after you half the damn night.”
